PAYİDAR ŞEYMA ALIŞIR

Born in Turkey in 1978, Payidar Şeyma Alışır graduated from the Department of Graphic Arts and Graphic Design at Işık University, Faculty of Fine Arts. She began her professional career in graphic design and worked for many years as an Art Director across advertising, television, series, and magazine productions. Alongside her professional career, she has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and

internationally.

Alışır’s artistic practice brings together photography, 3D, AI, and digital image-making. Her works develop through a process of transforming, layering, and digitally reconstructing images and elements produced and photographed in her studio.

Her practice explores identity, memory, cultural heritage, and the inner world. By bringing physical and digitally constructed imagery into dialogue, Alışır creates layered visual compositions in which personal memory intersects with collective cultural memory. Represented by Vision Art Platform in Turkey and Trimper Gallery in the USA.
